Tin on a Wall – Abersychan

Tin on a Wall – Aims

As a result of the Covid -19 pandemic, many more people within our community are struggling with reduced hours, loss of jobs and other social and financial difficulties.

We need to look after each other. The aim is to help fill the gaps and ensure that no one goes without food during the current pandemic.

How?

A group of volunteers have come together to help support the Abersychan Ward Community

Our aim is to collect food and essential item donations for the Garnsychan Partnership to share to various ward food hubs, via a coordinated street by street community effort. The food bank is open to all who find themselves in need.

Could you help?

We are asking for any donations to be left on the wall outside your property or on a windowsill or doorstep, each Saturday by 2pm, for collection by your streets Community Champion Collector, from 2 onwards.

Can you make a small but much needed donation to the food bank?

Could you volunteer to collect from your street?

The more donators and Community Champions Volunteers, the more streets can be collected from and the more people helped.
